Whether its Pipe, Electronic, Reed or Cinema Organs, we may be able to supply the parts you require or even a complete organ. For many who will read this site, what follows may already be understood. But some may like to know that:- 1. Reed organs are self-contained, and in theory at least, never need tuning. The sound is generated by a vibrating brass tongue which is anchored to its own base plate. The organs come in all sizes from single manual instruments to two manual with full pedal board, and exhausted electrically. They can look attractive, and add an interesting touch to a room. 2. Everyone will be familiar with the classical “church” pipe organ ranging in size from small to enormous. The one thing they have in common is that, generally speaking, each stop controls its own rank of pipes. But a pipe organ need not be enormous to offer a good specification if built on the “extension” principle. This works by adding one or more octaves to a basic rank, so enabling a range of pitches to be obtained from one rank. So, for example, by adding two octaves to the top end of an 8’ diapason, 8’, 4’, 2. and mutation pitches can be obtained. So it is entirely possible to install a two or three rank extension organ in a good sized room or garage.

3.Cinema organs exploit the extension principle to the full. Overall they work on higher wind pressures than the classical organ. Percussions and a variety of effects complement the pipe work. Horizon Organs offer for sale reed and electronic organs complete, and all the components necessary to build small extension organs - pipes, chests, console, blower. In addition, Cinema organ components become available from time to time.
